Bikini Tune Up: It’s Never Too Late to Strut Your Bikini Body!

1. Don’t Fear Your Bikini: If you start today, you’ve 12-workout days until July 4th. You can tone up flabby areas and feel good in your bikini. I’m not saying you’re going to drop a bikini size, but you’ll look a little slimmer and definitely feel emotionally better if you Start Today. After all, it’s the little things you do every day like working out and eating healthful foods that help you feel good about your body—confidence starts from the inside out.

2. First--up your cardio: Blast more calories by adding a few days of interval training. You must do cardio four-days a week for 50 minutes.

3. Maximize your Results, Minimize your Time. Bottom line is you need lots of cardio to burn the extra flesh (I never say fat-be kind to your body) hiding those muscles. Since we’re working on a tight body-deadline (July 4th), add exercises that work many muscles like these exercises which focus on your abs and hips at the same time.

Exercise One: Outer Thigh (pure glutes) Exercise to warm up hips and je-jiggle your butt and thighs. Do 8-reps in each foot, three times.

Exercise Two: Plank with wide legs to strengthen your core muscles (abs and back), and tone your inner and outer thighs. Hold for 30-seconds, working your way up to 60-seconds.

Exercise Three: Double Leg Lower Leg Lifts with Open Leg Wide to get rid of your belly bulge and lose inches in your inner and outer legs. Do-5-8 reps.

4. My Fave Skinny foods: So I don’t believe in diets…but I do believe in eating foods that make you feel good. My favorite skinny foods are grapefruits, salads with lots of stuff like avocadoes, tomatoes…; sushi—love sushi and I always drink lots of water.

5. No Bikini Limitations: Maybe you’ll lose an inch or two, but working out and eating good foods is really about boosting your confidence. Think of the bikini as your high school reunion, it’s the motivation to look good—better than that mean girl! But it’s really about “No Limitations” feeling good in a bikini, sweats or baring it all! Ladies, our best years are ahead of us! Keep going, and you’ll have the rest of the summer to feel great in your bikini.
